Symbolized by a rainbow

The rainbow is a common meteorological phenomenon. Its shape and colour have special meaning to various cultures around the world. To the Aboriginal people of the Pennefather River, a rainbow represents a brightly coloured snake. This spirit is important to Aboriginal Dreamtime culture and is thought to be the oldest continuous religious belief in the world. As a result, it appears in rock art that dates back to around 10,000 years.

Celebrated by prayer cards

The next World Meeting of Families will be held in Rome, June 22-26, 2022. During this meeting, Pope Francis and the Vatican have encouraged all dioceses to hold local World Meetings. These can include prayer, formation, and fellowship.

Symbolized by digital photo frames
